Recommended learning & practice schedule:
Day 1 - Layer 1 & 2
Day 2 - Refresh Day 1, Yellow Cross, Little Fish & Big Fish
Day 3 - Refresh Day 1 & 2, Double Fish & No Fish
Day 4 - Refresh and Practice Days 1, 2 & 3
Day 5 - LL Fix Corners and Edges
*Note: it’s important to sleep between learning new things, it boots the information in the brain like saving a parameter with a reset. Don’t try to learn too much in one day. It seldom matters how fast you learn something but rather how well you learn something.

Rubik’s Cube Notation of Turns
R = clockwise turn of the Right side.
R’ = counterclockwise turn.
L = clockwise turn of the Left side.
L’ = counterclockwise turn.
U = clockwise turn of the Up or Top side.
U’ = counterclockwise turn.
D = clockwise turn of the Down or Bottom side.
D’ = counter clockwise turn.
B = clockwise turn of the Back side while facing it.
B’ = counterclockwise turn. * Remember CW & CCW is as if facing that side
A lower case letter means we turn that side and the Center layer with it, whether it be the Right, Left, Front, Back, Up, or Down.
Yellow Cross (F R U R’ U’ F’)
Little Fish: (R U R’ U R U2 R’)
Big Fish: (R U’2 R’ U’ R U’ R’)
Double Fish: (R U R’ U R U2 R’) (R U R’ U R U2 R’)
No Fish: (f R U R’ U’ f’) (F R U R’ U’ F’)
PLL Corners: (x R’ U R’ D2 R U’ R’ D2 R2 x’)
PLL Edges: (R2 U R U R’ U’ R’ U’ R’ U R’)
*Note some of these are not conventional Rubik’s algorithms because we modified them or made up our own for simplicity and ease of memorization. They are not the fastest or most efficient but we believe them to be the simplest. (See part 2 Solve Rubik’s Intermediate Method for faster methods once proficient at this beginner method to solve 3x3 cube)
Insert First Layer Corner
White sticker on Right: R U R’
White sticker on Left: L’ U’ L
(Slap the White side)
Second Layer Edges
Align Edge to Center
Move it away
Kick out Corner
& Chase the Edge (Special Rabbit)
Re-Insert Corner
Second Layer Edges
If an edge is in wrong
Kick it out (put another in)
Re-insert Corner
Find Edge then insert
Last Layer Yellow Cross
F R U R' U' F'
Repeat 1 - 3 Times
Until Yellow Cross
Last Layer Corners
Put two solved corners to back
x R’ U R’ D2 R U’ R’ D2 R2 x’
or if no solved corners do it twice
Last Layer Edges
If 3 Edges wrong put solved side to back
R2 U R U R’ U’ R’ U’ R’ U R’
Repeat 1-2 times
If all 4 Edges wrong perform alg, then solved side to back
Then all 1-2 more times
